Testimonial
"The work of planting churches in Canada has been multiplied through the BCPM Seed Bank and the wide distribution of John and Romans.  I have not seen another program that is more effective in laying a strong groundwork for a fledgling congregation."

-Pastor Brian Thiessen

Seed Bank

What is the BCPM Seed Bank?

The BCPM Seed Bank is a fund that is used to help with the expenses of reproducing a new church. We do not charge churches to help them with church planting projects. We also cover all our expenses while there.

Why is the Seed Bank needed?

The Seed Bank is needed because the General Fund of BCPM cannot handle these extra expenses. The General Fund takes care of the administrative expenses for the ministry and the salaries, but is not large enough to cover the extra expenses incurred when planting a church.

How much is needed for each project?

The amount needed varies with each project. In some cases, a prophet's chamber is available, but at other times, we must stay in a hotel. Meals are sometimes provided as well. The travel expense is determined by where the new church is being planted. The average expense for each project is approximately $2000.

What has been the outlook for 2008?

We have church plants that have already taken place on the calendar for 2008, and we also have some still left for this calendar year. Through the Seed Bank, BCPM is able to help local Baptist churches reproduce new churches all around the world.

What kinds of results are you seeing?

In the past thirteen years, the Seed Bank has helped us work with eighty-two new church planting projects.

How would I be able to make a contribution to the Seed Bank?

You can write a check or money order to BCPM Seed Bank and mail it to PO Box 240904, Apple Valley, MN 55124. All donations are tax-deductible, and a statement will be sent to you at the end of the calendar year.
